Ghost Scalper EA – Automated Gold Trading Expert Advisor

Ghost Scalper EA is a fully automated Expert Advisor designed for trading Gold (XAUUSD) on MetaTrader 5. It combines four independent strategies—Ghost A, Ghost B, Ghost C, and Ghost D—to identify trading opportunities. Each strategy follows its own entry conditions. As a result, the EA can manage different trading approaches within one system.

The EA opens trades only when its internal conditions are met. Therefore, periods without trading activity are normal and do not necessarily indicate a problem.

Four Independent Trading Strategies

Ghost Scalper EA includes four strategies: Ghost A, Ghost B, Ghost C, and Ghost D. You can enable or disable each strategy individually. In addition, you can control BUY and SELL directions separately.

Each strategy also has its own position-sizing and money-management settings. However, multiple strategies may trade simultaneously, so you should always consider their combined account exposure.

STANDARD and CUSTOM Trailing Modes

STANDARD Mode (Default)

STANDARD mode uses the EA’s built-in Stop Loss, Take Profit, and Trailing Stop settings. Therefore, it provides a convenient starting point for regular trading.

CUSTOM Mode

CUSTOM mode gives you greater control. You can configure Stop Loss, Take Profit, Trailing Start, Distance, and Step independently for BUY and SELL directions.

The default CUSTOM values are:

• Stop Loss: 800
• Take Profit: 2500
• Trailing Start: 250
• Trailing Distance: 150
• Trailing Step: 80

The EA keeps its proprietary entry calculations and optimized parameters protected.

Adaptive Anti-Slippage Technology

Ghost Scalper EA monitors observed broker execution slippage. It then uses that information to adjust Stop Loss, Take Profit, and Trailing Stop behavior.

Each strategy offers three adjustment levels:

• SOFT: 25%
• MEDIUM: 50% (Default)
• HARD: 100%

The system works automatically in the background. However, it cannot eliminate slippage completely. Furthermore, the MT5 Strategy Tester cannot reliably reproduce actual broker-side execution slippage.

Version 5.1 – Prop Firm Protection

Ghost Scalper 5.1 introduces an optional protection system for traders who want to manage drawdown and exposure limits. You can enable this feature when your trading requirements call for additional safeguards.

• Maximum Overall Drawdown: 6%
• Maximum Risk per New Trade: 0.5%
• Maximum Total Open and Pending Risk: 2%

• Adjustable Safety Buffer
• Automatic or Manual Starting Balance
• Daily Reset based on broker server time
• Limit Action: BLOCK ONLY or CLOSE POSITION

The system monitors account equity and trading risk, including exposure from manual trades and other EAs. When an account reaches a configured limit, Ghost Scalper blocks new entries and removes its pending orders. Additionally, the selected action can instruct the EA to attempt to close existing Ghost positions.

Protection remains disabled by default. Although these controls help manage risk, they cannot guarantee compliance with every proprietary trading firm’s rules.

Money Management and Trade Protection

Ghost Scalper EA offers three money-management methods for each strategy: Fixed Lot, Risk Percent, and Risk per Balance. This flexibility allows you to select a position-sizing approach that suits your account and preferences.

The EA also manages pending orders, Stop Loss, Take Profit, and Trailing Stop according to your settings. If a broker rejects a Stop Loss modification, an internal virtual protection mechanism may provide fallback protection. Nevertheless, execution delays, broker rejections, and sudden market movements can still affect results.

News Filter and Trading Hours

The optional news filter covers major USD economic events, including FOMC, CPI, NFP, and PCE. By default, it restricts trading for 30 minutes before and after selected events. You can also configure additional event filters and News Week Risk Mode.

To retrieve external news data, add the specified URL to the MT5 WebRequest allowlist:

MT5 → Tools → Options → Expert Advisors → Allow WebRequest

Ghost Scalper EA also applies weekend controls to its pending orders. Specifically, it blocks or removes them from Friday at 22:00 until Monday at 00:00, according to broker server time. Meanwhile, the EA continues managing existing positions.

Dashboard and Execution Monitoring

Ghost Scalper EA provides three dashboard modes: BIG, SMALL, and OFF. Depending on your selection, the dashboard can display trading statistics, drawdown, spread, slippage, execution quality, Broker Quality, VPS Quality, and news status.

These indicators help you monitor trading conditions. However, actual performance still depends on broker execution, liquidity, spreads, account type, and VPS stability. A low-latency connection alone cannot guarantee better execution.
